MUNICH, FEBRUARY 15, 2022 – McDermott Will & Emery advised the shareholders of Horst Pöppel Logistik and Transport GmbH & Co. KG on succession planning and the sale of a majority stake to funds from AUCTUS Capital Partners AG.
Headquartered in Regensburg, Horst Pöppel Logistik and Transport GmbH & Co. KG is one of the leading German mineral oil forwarding companies. The former majority shareholder Monika Zollner has taken a reverse stake in the new shareholder to accompany the upcoming transformation of the company in the coming years. The transaction is still subject to customary closing conditions.
The McDermott team advised on all legal aspects of the transaction within the framework of a structured M&A process, including structuring and divestment as well as the re-investment of the previous majority shareholder.
