International law firm McDermott Will & Schulte represented Solventum, a global healthcare company, in its acquisition of Acera Surgical (Acera), a privately held bioscience company developing engineered materials for regenerative wound care.

The transaction includes an upfront cash payment of $725 million, subject to customary purchase price adjustments, along with up to $125 million in contingent cash payments tied to future milestone achievements. The acquisition enhances Solventum’s advanced wound care offerings with Acera’s synthetic tissue matrix technology.
