McDermott Advises Art-Invest on the Acquisition of the Office Property Abraham-Lincoln-Park 1 in Wiesbaden

Düsseldorf/Frankfurt, March 16, 2021 – McDermott Will & Emery advised Art-Invest Real Estate on the acquisition of an office property in Wiesbaden, Germany. Art-Invest acquired the property “Abraham-Lincoln-Park 1” on behalf of a managed fund.

The office property, built in 2002, has a lettable area of around 27,000 sqm and is mostly let to R+V Versicherung.

Art-Invest Real Estate is a long-term oriented investor, asset manager and developer of real estate, headquartered in Cologne, whose investments span the entire return and risk spectrum in the office, retail, hotel, residential and data center sectors. With assets under management of around €7 billion, Art-Invest Real Estate is now one of the largest office and hotel project developers in Germany.

McDermott has already advised Art-Invest Real Estate on various real estate transactions in the recent past, e.g. on the sales of “Fürst & Friedrich” in Düsseldorf, “Kaiserhof” in Cologne and “Neuer Kanzlerplatz” building complex in Bonn.
