Munich, April 1, 2021 – McDermott Will & Emery has advised the shareholders of ACTICO on its sale to Bregal Unternehmerkapital. The ACTICO management team and existing shareholders will remain significantly invested in the company alongside Bregal.
ACTICO is a leading RegTech software vendor providing intelligent decision automation, in particular to the banking and financial services industry. The company provides solutions to customers in over 25 countries worldwide. Carved out from Bosch in 2015, ACTICO is headquartered in Immenstaad am Bodensee, Germany, with additional offices in USA and Singapore.
Bregal Unternehmerkapital invests in mid-sized companies across a wide range of sectors in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Northern Italy. The firm focuses on market leaders and “hidden champions” with strong management teams and growth potential.
The McDermott team advising the shareholders of ACTICO was led by Carsten Böhm, Marcus Fischer, and comprised Nina Siewert, Sandra Urban-Crell, Steffen Woitz, Germar Enders, Frank Weiß and Benedikt Gloßner.
