Munich, December 2, 2020 – McDermott Will & Emery advised the founders of iPoint-systems GmbH on the sale of shares to GRO Capital. For the Danish private equity investor GRO Capital the investment marks the entry into the German market for software and IT.
iPoint-systems GmbH, headquartered in Reutlingen, Germany, is a leading global provider of software and consulting services in the areas of product compliance and sustainability. Founded in 2001, the company has 14 offices in Europe, Norths America and Asia. iPoint’s clients include major corporations such as Ford, Fresenius and Roche.
GRO Capital is a Northern European private equity investor focusing on established B2B software and technology companies with strong growth potential. iPoint is the fourth investment of the GRO Fund II.
The McDermott team was led by Christian von Sydow and Nadine Hartung and included Gudrun Germakowski, Nina Siewert, Steffen Woitz, Germar Enders, Marcus Fischer as well as Robert Feind and Tina Zeller.
