McDermott Will & Emery advised Ratiodata AG, the German IT System House Partner of Fiducia & GAD IT AG, on the acquisition of Accesa-Group. The transaction comprises the Accesa IT Group GmbH, including its subsidiaries in Romania and Switzerland as well as the Frankfurt-based joint venture Accesa Holding GmbH. The financial terms of the transaction are undisclosed.
The acquisition strengthens Ratiodata’s service portfolio with comprehensive customer solutions for the digitalization of business processes. The transaction also expands the international reach and opportunities to offer industry-specific solutions in financial services and other regulated sectors.
The Accesa-Group is a leading IT service provider in central Europe. Founded in 2004, the company now employs over 700 experts in 20 competence centers, developing innovative solutions and individual services such as consulting, UI/UX, architecture, development, testing and 24×7 managed services for the entire Microsoft, Amazon, Google and SAP service palette.
Ratiodata AG, founded in 1972, is one of the largest system companies in Germany with over 1,300 employees at 14 locations and branch offices nationwide and a turnover of around 330 million euros. Ratiodata AG specializes in financial services companies and regulated and IT-intensive industries. Its products and services primarily include hardware trading, IT lifecycle management, managed services and nationwide on-site services for stationary and mobile IT infrastructure and workplace equipment, including multi-functional systems, communication technologies and network and security solutions. The product and service portfolio also includes business units for Scan & Document Services and Banking Technology & Services, in which Ratiodata is one of the market leaders. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fiducia & GAD IT AG.
