Düsseldorf, November 25, 2020 – McDermott Will & Emery promotes four lawyers in Germany to partners. Björn Biehl (Munich), Pierre-André Brandt and Sebastian Keding (both Düsseldorf/Cologne) and Florian Lechner (Frankfurt) will join the partnership with effect of 1 January 2021.

Björn Biehl specializes in restructuring and insolvency law. He also focuses on national and international M&A, private equity transactions and joint ventures. In addition, he advises on all aspects of corporate law.
Pierre-André Brandt has a focus on corporate real estate. He provides comprehensive advice on real estate law, in particular in relation to asset and share deals, single and portfolio transactions as well as project developments and financing in the real estate sector.
Sebastian Keding is an expert in financing law. His particular focus is on financing in the automotive sector, where he assists vehicle manufacturers and importers in optimizing their sales financing models in Germany and abroad.
Florian Lechner advises on M&A transactions, joint ventures and complex commercial matters. His client base includes German and international corporations from a wide range of sectors, including telecommunications, media and technology, renewable energy, industry, and automotive.
As of the beginning of 2021, McDermott promotes 37 lawyers across 14 global offices to partners and appoints five counsel.
