With more than two decades of experience in finance, corporate lending and restructuring, Oliver advises banks, sponsors and corporates on structuring and negotiating cross-border finance transactions. Oliver brings a proven track record that will immediately strengthen the value and insight we deliver to our key client relationships,” said Harris Siskind, global head of McDermott’s Transactions Practice Group. “He is a powerful addition to our platform and will make an immediate impact.”
Oliver joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he led the German banking practice and served as co-head of the European General Banking and R&I.
“For years, we’ve been building a transactional offering that brings together our corporate, finance and restructuring capabilities in a truly integrated way,” said Matthias Kampshoff, managing partner of McDermott in Germany. “Oliver’s arrival strengthens that approach even further, enhancing our ability to support clients on complex financing and restructuring matters throughout the full transaction cycle.”
“Frankfurt is Germany’s financial hub, and our banking team continues to grow to meet the increasing demands of the market,” added Frank Müller, Frankfurt office managing partner. “Oliver is a highly regarded practitioner with an impressive track record of guiding clients through complex and high-stakes financings. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”
