McDermott Advises Rauscher Group on Takeover by Ingérop

McDermott Will & Emery advised German Rauscher Group on its acquisition by French engineering group Ingérop. Both companies offer support in planning, consulting and management projects in the construction sector.

The Rauscher Group was founded in 1985, and employs a total of 185 staff in its subsidiaries Codema International, EDR and MF Dr. Flohrer Beratende Ingenieure. In 2018, the group’s turnover was almost €21 million. The Rauscher companies specialize in planning services in hydraulic engineering, tunnel construction and industrial and commercial construction, as well as project management services.

Ingérop is an owner-managed engineering group headquartered in Rueil-Malmaison near Paris. The group advises on projects in the areas of urban development and mobility, water and environment, construction, energy and industry in 70 countries. With around 1,900 employees working for the Ingérop subsidiaries Arcora, Cicad, Géos, Intec and Rendel, the group generated sales of more than €225 million in 2018.
