McDermott Advises myneva Group, a Portfolio Company of Summa Equity, on the Acquisition of Kuidado GmbH

Frankfurt, July 25, 2025 – McDermott Will & Emery advised myneva Group, a leading European software provider for the social sector, on the acquisition of Munich-based software company Kuidado GmbH.

With the integration of the Kuidado software solution CareMates, myneva is specifically expanding its existing portfolio with a technology for applicant and admission management in social institutions.

Kuidado’s founders will remain involved with the company and will continue to run it under the myneva Group umbrella.

The myneva Group, based in Essen, Germany, employs around 400 people across 17 locations and provides software solutions for social services to more than 6,300 institutions in eight European countries. The company has been part of the portfolio of the investment company Summa Equity since 2021.

Kuidado specializes in AI-based CRM solutions for enquiry and admission processes in social services.

The McDermott team was led by partner Christian Marzlin and counsel Maximilian Meyer and comprised partners Heiko Kermer, Steffen Woitz, Alexa Ningelgen, and Christian Driessen-Rolf, counsel Isabelle Suzanne Müller and Laura Stammwitz, as well as associates Paulina Simons, Sönke Wassermann, Lene Niemeier, Thomas Hintzen, Max Küttner, and Hannah Henseling.
